Levison Wood: Walking The Himalayas

Levison and his guide, Malang, begin their trek in Afghanistan's Wakhan Corridor. Then, they head for the 5000-metre wall of snow and ice leading to northern Pakistan.

Levison traverses breath-taking scenery in northern Pakistan's mountain valleys. They meet tribes people and nomads before reaching the militarised frontier with India.

Levison arrives in Nepal and visits one of the country's national parks. It's home to tigers, rhinos and massive crocodiles, but animals aren't the only dangers he faces.

Following the car crash and a six-week recovery period in back in the UK, Levison returns to Nepal. Then, he heads towards Everest, Kathmandu and Bhutan.

Levison and his friend Binod reach Bhutan. They get a rare opportunity to experience the country's beautiful scenery, colourful festivals and historic monasteries.
