A picture of the three captains from Series 4 of Whale Wars (DCL)
Join Captain Paul Watson and the volunteers of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society as they return to the Southern Ocean in the brand new adrenaline-fuelled series of ‘Whale Wars’. After last year's victorious campaign the Seas Shepherds thought they had driven the Japanese whaling fleet from the waters of Antarctica for good. But now the whalers are back and stronger than ever before having received nearly $30 million from the Japanese government to fund a military convoy with zero tolerance for the conservation group. Hoping to end the war before it even begins, Captain Paul Watson decides to head north to try to intercept the Japanese fleet before it can reach the whaling grounds. But his plan is risky. Can the team’s new strategy and tactics stop the whalers from reaching their goal or will they lose them entirely? Follow the Sea Shepherds as they attempt to find and stop Japanese ships from hunting whales in the name of research.

Each one-hour episode follows the Sea Shepherd’s land-air-sea campaign led by Paul Watson as they try to find the whales before the locals do. A hunt can happen at any moment, and the Sea Shepherds are vastly outnumbered in a new kind of face-to-face battle. More About The Show
