Move over Alaska, the gold rush has moved to Ghana in the brand new series Jungle Gold.
Millions of dollars’ worth of gold lies buried beneath Ghana’s dense jungles and determined miners from all over the world come looking for their claim. However unlike Alaska, in Ghana mining the gold is the easy part, keeping hold of it is where the challenge lies.
Amongst trigger happy neighbours, warring claims and illegal mining operations American pair George White and Scott Lomu – both ex property moguls bankrupted in the recession - attempt to set up a claim and turn their lives around.
Their families need them to succeed but out here it’s not just their livelihoods on the line, but also their lives. About The Show
