LONDON SURF FILM FESTIVAL
A new vision in surf film-making with Raw The Movie...
The next film of the London Surf Film Festival we wanted to spotlight is something of a treat for the senses with Raw The Movie directed by Mark Brightwell and Cohan Banfield of Australia.
Two years in the making, Raw The Movie combines lush cinematography with a thumping soundtrack to showcase some of the world’s best surfers pushing themselves to the limit on the craziest waves at various locations around the world.
Featuring surfs in Indonesia, Tahiti, Hawaii, Tasmania and Australia the film is a new vision of surf film making that showcases a diverse range of professional and everyday surfing.

The films features footage of some of the biggest waves ever surfed and along with the choice soundtrack, pin-point editing and overall richness of the cinematography the viewer is taken to another world where they can almost literally lose themselves in the waves.
The film features the surfing talents of: Owen Wright, Dean Bowen, Ryan Hipwood, Michael Hopkins, John John Florence, Matt “Archy” Archbold and many more.
Raw The Movie is screened at FRIDAY 12TH OCTOBER, 21.40.
