This is one gang you wouldn’t want to run into at night: Tyrannosaurus rex looking for a quick snack. Find out more in Dino Gangs on Discovery Channel at 9pm on Sunday the 26th.

In a remote corner of the world a group of palaeontologists have uncovered something that may change the way that the world looks at Tyrannosaurus rex.

In the depths of the Gobi Desert the remains of 68 Tyrannosaurus individuals has been unearthed, packed tightly together.

For leading dinosaur expert, Dr Phil Currie, it is proof for his controversial new theory that Tyrannosauroids were not dull witted, solitary creatures has long been perceived, but intelligent and complex pack animals that lived and hunted in bloodthirsty gangs.

With exclusive access to his discovery and ground-breaking research, this two-hour special follows Dr Currie on a global quest from the dinosaur graveyards of the Gobi desert to the wilds of the African Kalahari, to prove that Tyrannosaurs were more intelligent and far more deadly than we ever imagined.

Watch Dino Gangs on Discovery Channel at 9pm on Sunday the 26th.
